Cecilia Tzaou and Viktoria Siwek

Cecilia Tzaou

project leader, educator

 – I am very happy for the opportunity to work with DansVariation. I am passionate about dance and everyone's right to dance, inclusive practices and the role of the arts in community development. It is amazing seeing the dancers develop and grow as dance leaders, see them spread joy and inspiration, act as role models and counter prejudice in society.

Cecilia has been working as a dance and drama teacher since 2008. During these years she has also worked as a project manager for various projects and has been part of stage productions. She has worked with people with intellectual disabilities since she was a teenager.

Cecilia has a Postgraduate degree in Community Dance at Trinity Laban in England. She is a trained drama teacher at Lärarhögskolan and has attended dance courses at SMI and Danshögskolan in Stockholm.

Viktoria Siwek

Project leader, educator

 – Working pedagogically with dance and the performing arts in a challenging and life-affirming environment promotes health, creativity and joy. It is something that I have experienced through my many years as a stage artist in the cultural sector. Dance and movement is an incredibly powerful tool! Inclusive dance enriches cultural life and opens up for new and interesting expressions.

Viktoria Siwek works as a dance leader at DansVariation. She also works as an actor at Teater Sláva and has a background in physical theater. Over the years, Viktoria has directed and participated in community theater projects, worked educationally with children, young people and adults and made interactive performances for and with people with learning disabilities.
